3 Days Murchison Falls Safari

Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park for evening game drive

Set off early for Murchison Falls NP. The 5 hour drive to the gate of the park will take you north westwards to the more pristine parts of Uganda. Stop for lunch in Masindi town before you enter the park where you will embark on a game drive after crossing the River Nile. On this game drive we hope to see big game as they prepare for the night. We hope to see elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, buffalos, among other big game. Return to the lodge for dinner and the nights stay.

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise at the bottom of the falls

After breakfast, head for an eventful cruise on the River Nile. This cruise will take you all the way to the bottom of Murchison Falls.

On this cruise you will see schools of hippos, crocodiles and other aquatic wildlife. In addition, you will see elephants, buffalos and other big game that are drawn to the river for a drink or to cool off

Day 3: Visit to top of falls and drive to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

After your breakfast, drive to the top of Murchison Falls where you will see the falls up close and listen to the thundering waters of the Nile as they rush through a 6 meter gorge. Enjoy the spectacle before heading back on the road for a drive back to Entebbe airport or Kampala.
